Plugin Configuration

Setting up the plugin is straightforward via the Joomla Plugin Manager.

Token Expiration

Set the validity period of the login link (in minutes). After this time, the link becomes invalid for security.

Define a specific landing page (Itemid or URL) where users land immediately after a successful magic login.

How to use it?

  1. Ensure the plugin is Enabled in Extensions > Plugins.
  2. Go to your site's standard Login Form.
  3. Enter your Registered Email Address in the username field.
  4. Enter just one char in the password field and click Log In.
  5. Check your inbox for the magic link and click it to enter!
  Pro Tip: Ensure your Joomla Mail Settings (Global Configuration) are correctly configured to ensure the Magic Links reach your users' inboxes instantly!

Install

  • Download the Plugin zip file to your local machine.
  • From the backend of your Joomla site select Extensions  →  Install/Uninstall.
  • Click the Browse button and select the plugin package on your local machine.
  • Click the Upload File & Install button.
  • Note that plugins must be enabled before they will work.
