How to embed a GoogleMap on a Joomla article

Here is an example of how to embed a GoogleMap into an joomla content item or article, for example embedding a googlemap centered on Vevey, Switzerland (CH) with map width=660 and mapheight=260 and zoom=12 with this simple "markup" {loadGmap f:map,a: rue du midi 10 Vevey,w:660,h:200,z:12} as you can notice is also enabled the street view features, this plugin use the new v3 of the GoogleMap API so no more API key are needed and are more performable than the old 2.0. Not only simple map can be embedded but also directions map showing directions to destination address (Roma)  from user input address

  • Great plug-in. Works right out of the box (which I love). One small issue: I can't get the tweet/retweet bttoun out of the top left of the section header. I excluded all categories in the section but it still shows up.
  • I like the pilugn, but the placement is somewhat ackward. It would be great if you could control the positioning. For example, it would be ideal if it could be placed on the left hand side, next to the title. Any ideas?
  • I'm newbie and a new user in this forum, but I hope to help and be helped by others. :)
